abstract / sažetak
Masonry buildings constitute a large part of the historic building stock and, due to the low tensile and shear resistance of unreinforced masonry, they are particularly vulnerable to seismic action. This paper provides an overview of the most common seismic strengthening techniques, with an emphasis on solutions that enable optimal strengthening while considering the complexity of the intervention and its integration with energy retrofit measures. Strengthening with steel frames is identified as a particularly interesting research direction, with consideration given to frame stiffness, anchorage details, and connection using steel ties during the renovation of the building facade. Such frames could potentially be installed together with external windows as part of the energy retrofit of the building facade.
Zidane zgrade čine velik dio povijesnoga fonda, a zbog male vlačne i posmične otpornosti nearmiranog ziđa posebno su osjetljive na potresno djelovanje. U radu se daje pregled najčešćih tehnika seizmičkog pojačanja, s naglaskom na rješenja kojima se postiže optimalno pojačanje imajući u vidu složenost intervencije i povezivanje s energetskom obnovom. Kao istraživački zanimljivo rješenje izdvojeno je pojačanje čeličnim okvirima, uz razmatranje krutosti okvira, načina sidrenja i povezivanja zategama tijekom obnove ovojnice postojećih zgrada iz razloga jer bi se takvi okviri mogli ugraditi zajedno s vanjskom stolarijom u sklopu energetske obnove pročelja zgrade.
